This will be the second time Pepsi would do this. The brand’s last year’s Superbowl ad featuring Cardi B and Lil John also took a shot at Coke. Truth be told, I’m really not impressed with this ad. I like the production though, looks like a typical Missy Elliot music video. Dope!

However, in terms of creatively delivering the message, i think the concept was bland; just too direct. I kinda prefer last year’s approach.
Anyway, the message of the ad was clear. It simply said that Pepsi Zero is better than Coke Zero. Now I’m curious to know why.
